Proibinsa's new development in Nueva Torrequebrada

Have you ever thought that you had found your secluded dream home, only to find on further enquiry that it was due to be surrounded by high-rise apartment blocks which would destroy any tranquillity or view? If you've been in that situation, you know that you need to check out what sort of buildings might arise twenty metres from your front door, in case you find that your peaceful evening drink on the terrace will have as spectators half the residents of the new flats opposite, whose only view is your garden.

One place you can be sure of this not happening is in Proibinsa's new development in Nueva Torrequebrada. This development, known as Atalaya Golf, is set between Torrequebrada golf course and the sea, on a gentle hill surrounded by green belt, where no further development can take place and thus spoil the uninterrupted sea views or disturb the pheasants and other bird life living amongst the olive trees and cork oaks which encircle this gated community.







Atalaya Golf will consist of 122 one- to three-bedroomed apartments, duplexes and penthouses, distributed in three separate enclaves, all enclosed within the community's walls and surrounded by lush gardens. Within each enclave are a number of small blocks, built in a terraced pueblo style and each comprising between four and seven apartments. Each block will have its own basement garage connected by lift with the apartments above. There are storerooms for each apartment within the garage area. The buildings in each enclave will encircle their own pools - one for adults and one for children, a total of six pools within the Atalaya Golf community, which is further enhanced by the provision of a fitness centre containing a gymnasium, a sauna and other facilities.

There are nine different layouts to choose from in this development, from one-bedroomed apartments to spacious three-bedroomed duplexes. All have large, tiled terraces, and even the raised ground floor apartments have an impressive view. There is cream marble tiling throughout the living and sleeping areas, with ceramic tiling in kitchen and bathrooms. The residences are fully fitted out, with built-in wardrobes and cupboards in high-quality hardwood, and complete kitchens with all electro domestics integrated. Bathrooms are fitted with the well-known 'Ideal Standard' range, and have marble wash tables, ceramic tiling and individual electrical boilers.

Prices within this development range from 136,700 Euros for one-bedroomed apartments to 268,500 Euros for three-bedroomed penthouses. These prices are quite reasonable for this quality of development along the coast; this is due to lower land prices in this particular area and the ability to buy 'off plan'. Floor areas range from 58.25 to 126.44 square metres, and terrace areas from 19.8 to 49.4 square metres.

There is a prefabricated show house on-site to enable potential purchasers to visualise their future home, as the show house is finished and fitted to be an exact replica of the finished apartments. A specially constructed track allows the prospective residents to take a buggy ride around the site and see the view they will enjoy from their finished apartment.

The location of Atalaya Golf is a big plus point for the development as it offers the best of both worlds - set in quiet countryside adjacent to the beach, yet near to a large variety of amenities. Located between sophisticated Benalmödena and family friendly Fuengirola, the community is within easy reach of many daytime leisure and sporting centres, including marinas and golf courses, as well as the full range of nightlife the coast has to offer. In fact, as the Torrequebrada Golf Course is literally just over the garden wall and the five star Hotel Torrequebrada, which boasts superb dining facilities, exciting shows and an up-market casino, is practically on the development's doorstep, future residents could find all their needs catered for within their own neighbourhood.
