Welcome to the September/October issue of 123 Property News.

As regular readers will probably have noticed, this new issue marks a considerable growth on our past issues. Not only has our magazine grown in both size and content, but we have also introduced a new section, which I'm sure will make the magazine an even more indispensable item for the serious property buyer and would-be expatriate resident. I'm talking of course of our NEW Classified Glossary and Directory. This service, which will be carried in both our printed and online version, will no doubt prove to be a very useful tool and go a long way towards giving our readers the sort of information and content that they deserve. For information about the service or to book an ad, please call (+350 41811; 9567 41811 from Spain) and introduce yourself to Melanie, our newest member of staff, who will be looking after all our classified advertisements.

Issue 22's cover story "Ocean Village" has had a superb reaction from the public - an incredible 90% sold in two open days, queues overnight and eager buyers from all over the globe! I hope this month's Development Reviews again have equally successful results for our advertisers.

Lastly, and on a sourer note, I would like to draw all property developer's attention to a rather disturbing news item, which we carry under the title of "Buyer Beware". Our attention has been brought to a serious allegation of fraud in a case concerning the sale of a plot of land in Marbella known as "La Granja Porcina". We understand that a report has been made to the authorities, and we therefore feel it is our obligation as a conscientious property publication to warn potential future buyers of this plot about the pitfalls lying ahead. (See News item covering the subject in more detail.)

With this warning in mind, I now leave you to enjoy our magazine and wish those returning from their summer holidays a smooth transition back to working life.
