Ingredients:
1 chopped medium onion
2 tablespoons of olive oil.
1 clove of garlic.
1 lb minced beef.
2 small tins of tomato paste.
2 teaspoons of salt.
¼ teaspoon of ground pepper.
½ teaspoon of dried rosemary.
3 cups of hot water.
½ lb ricotta cheese.
½ lb lasagne noodles.
½ lb grated mozzarella cheese.
Preparation Instructions:
Fry the onion and garlic in hot oil until softened, and add the beef.
Cook whilst stirring until browned and crumbly.
Mix in salt and pepper, tomato paste, rosemary, and hot water.
Simmer for 30 about minutes (uncovered).
In a shallow baking dish, pour a thin layer of sauce, half the noodles, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese.
Repeat with half the remaining sauce, followed by the noodles.
Add the last of the sauce and cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes at a high heat. Leave to stand for 15 minutes before cutting.

Beef Jerky recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb Flank Steak
Soy SaucePreparation Instructions:
Select a 1/2 inch thick flank or top round steak.
Trim away all fat, then partially freeze until firm.
Slice across the grain into 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide strips.
Place meat strips in a shallow dish or heavy plastic bag.
Add soy sauce to cover the meat.
Toss to coat each piece.
For several hours or overnight.
Lift the meat from the pot for a

Place in a low oven (175F to 200F) until the meat is completely dried.
Store in an air-tight container.

Beef in Creamy Mushroom Sauce recipe
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup water
1 pound lean beef
boneless sirloin steak about 1/2 inch thick
1 small onion chopped
(about 1/4 cup)
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8
teaspoon pepper
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into bite-sized pieces
pieces
3 cups sliced mushrooms (about 8 ounces)
1/4 cup
brandy
OR
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon low-sodium beef bouillon
granules
2 tablespoons nonfat sour cream
3 tablespoons chopped fresh
chives
3 cups hot cooked mostaccioli
Preparation Instructions:
Stir cornstarch into water;
set aside. Trim fat from the beef steak. Cut beef
into thin strips, about 1
1/2 × 1/2 inch.
Spray 10-inch skillet with nonstick cooking spray;
heat over medium-high
heat. Cook onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in
a skillet about 3 minutes,
stirring frequently, until onion is tender. Stir
in beef and bell pepper.
Cook about 4 minutes, stirring frequently until
Beef is no longer pink.
Stir in mushrooms.
Add brandy to the skillet.
Sprinkle bouillon granules over the beef mixture. Heat
to boiling; reduce
heat. Cover and simmer 1 minute. Stir in sour cream.
Stir in the cornstarch
mixture. Cook over medium-high heat about 2 minutes,
stirring frequently,
until thickened. Stir in chives. Serve over
mostaccioli.
